Abstract
The dynamic interests of the formation of asymmetric world economic integrations and even the interests of the member countries of those integrations are completely different. Two decades have passed since the formation of two organizations, SCO and BRICS-Plus, of which Iran recently became a member. Now the question is whether the formation of these two organizations had dynamic benefits? Which member has gained the most and least benefits? Are these interests of the member countries due to the formation of economic integration or are they affected by the fundamental economic factors unique to the members? This article deals with the dynamic benefits of the formation of SCO in comparison with BRICS-Plus with regard to competition, economies of scale, foreign investment and mobility of factors with the method of comparative studies in the long-term period from 2000 to 2023. The results of the research show that both organizations have been promoted to a suitable position in the world in terms of competition, economies of scale and foreign investment in the long term. Due to the improvement of the global competitiveness of some members, the improvement of the share of both organizations in the world's foreign investment and the achievement of higher economies of scale, each member has not enjoyed these benefits in the long term. Also, all these dynamic interests were not caused by the formation, and of course, the formation of these two organizations was not unaffected by these interests either. In addition, all members have not benefited from these benefits to the same extent, so that the highest benefits, in terms of increasing the share with rapid growth, in the SCO are China and Kazakhstan, and in the BRICS are China, Indo-Brazil, and Iran's share. These benefits are quite insignificant; therefore, the strong recommendation of the study is serious efforts for fundamental transformation in promoting competition, economies of scale, foreign investment and mobility of production factors centered on the labor market in order to promote the dynamic interests of the country.
